The Government of Southern Sudan Mission to the United States of America and the United Nations would like to announce to the public that, July 30th, 2010 is a public hoilday marking Martyrs Day, the day the founding chairman of SPLM/A died in a plane crash.

This day is marked for commemoration of all those martyrs who sacrificed and paid the ultimate price to realize peace in Sudan. Therefore our office will be closed on Friday, July 30th and work resumes on Monday August 2nd, 2010.
